We're reopening starting May 18!

Dear dancing friends,

Have you heard the news? The governor has given us the green light to re-open the studio. We have missed you! We are so excited to be re-opening this Monday!

Prior to opening, we will be posting our protocol and guidelines throughout the studio.

We will be contacting you to schedule your lessons, or you can call us if you are ready and know when you would like to come in.

We are so grateful for all the love and support we have been receiving from all of you, and we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor! Stay safe and let's have fun dancing again at Dancing On The Suncoast.

Guide Lines for reopening

  • Temperature checks
We will use a touchless infrared thermometer to check the temperature of our employees each day and also of each student who enters the studio. Any employee or student who has a temperature above 99°F will not be allowed to come into studio for a lesson.

  • Each client entering the studio will be asked the following questions:

    • Have you had a cough?

    • Have you had a fever?

    • Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?

    • Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

  • Limiting people in the studio
Lessons will be by appointment only. Limit of 2 students plus instructor, or 2 couples plus instructor. We recommend that students wait outside the studio in your vehicle until your instructor calls you in. Lessons will be on the hour to give enough time between lessons to avoid any contact with other students, we will not promote any social gathering inside or outside of the studio. We will use the front door as the entrance and the side door as the exit.

  • Maintaining social distancing
Spacing between students in the studio should be at least six feet, except when your dance instructor is teaching you.

  • Personal Protective Gear

    • Masks and/or face shields – Instructors and students will be required to wear masks at all times.  We will provide masks to students if you need one.

    • Gloves – Instructors will wear disposable gloves when teaching each student and change gloves between students. Gloves will be available for students as well if you need one.

    • Hand-washing – Wash hands with soap and warm water for a minimum of 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer required by instructors between every student. Make sure to get under the nails, between the fingers, and the palms.

    • Disinfection – All touch points are being sanitized, including the front desk and restrooms, multiple timesthroughout the day.  A hand sanitizer pump is located by the water cooler.
